Hamza Andreas Tzortzis is an international public speaker and a writer. Hamza presents "Face the Faith" on Islam Channel and is a senior researcher and lecturer for iERA. He has debated prominent intellectuals and academics. Some of his interlocutors include the leading humanist Peter Cave, the editor of the Philosophy Now mazagine Rick Lewis and the highly acclaimed Professor Simon Blackburn. More recently Hamza debated one of the leading American atheists and secular activists Dr. Ed Buckner.
"Dawkins’ also rejects a supernatural designer because he thinks, as an explanation, it lack explanatory power; in other words, no advance is made. He raises this objection because he feels that a supernatural designer is just as complex as design. However Dawkins’ objection is problematic as he assumes that a supernatural designer is as complex as the universe. But a supernatural designer, in other words God, is one of the simplest concepts understood by all. This opinion is expressed by many Philosophers including the famous atheist turned theist Professor Anthony Flew." Click here to read more.

Masha'Allah brother, it was beautifully told. I thank Allah (SWT)who has guided you to the truth, and may He grant you a place in Janna for all the hard work that you are doing for His sake and for our Ummah.
jazakAllah khair for this insight into how you came to be a Muslim and what continuously stimulates you to remain one.
wsalam akhi.
Nice story bro.
I found myself knowing more than most muslims too, about Islam. I suppose I did study a lot with one of my mates.
Not being able to settle in with uni life in your first year obviously turned out for the better. That's what I hate too, everyone is in constant heartless competition. There's constructive competition that gets the best out of you, then there's the destructive form - where competition is such that it is either skewered in a negative direction or be competitors are very cold and it forces you to develop this coldness too in order to survive if you like.
Islam is like a peace coat, a blanket over things like this. Although competition as a whole is good and I personally thrive from it, take Islam away and people are competing with animalistic morals.
You came from an environment where you were 'free' to express yourself and you share a unique voice, you didn't have to tailor towards a common voice propagated by society.
Is that the last time you spoke to that girl? You were responsible for her steadfast towards God, that's good stuff.
A Wonderful Story Bro,
Your Journey to Islam will be remembered for years because what people are not aware all the times when they hear ISLAM is that they don't make certain comparison about this religion, they don't put it at test as you done using Budhasim and other secular teachings, what also is true that as you're from a greek Family you know more things about Atheism so I think that is making your story wonderful but also touching.
Thank You
