Asalamualaikum akhi Hamza. What a great presentation indeed. I am proud of you.
There are many valuable points you mentioned in the video, it's too bad the audio isn't good. Is it possible to make that video with title (text)?
tq. Wassalam.
Was-salaam my brother,
All good is from Islam.
I think the audio is fine, try adjusting the volume and playing around with the settings? Try putting the PC master volume at half and the YouTube clip volume at half too. InshAllah that should work.
I appreciate the suggestion akhi, alhamdullilah it worked. Jzk!
(i am a sister btw :D)
Al salamu alaykom Mr. Hamza,
I've watched your debates on you tube and your personal website, as well as live in AUB. Let me put it this way, I have been attending the "Does God exist?" debates in AUB for the past 3 years and the debates were really just "sad". The debaters that were to prove the existence of God tried to do so by quoting the Qoran. I stood up and told the debater at the time that he cannot use examples from the Qoran to convince or argue with atheists because they do not believe in the Qoran to start with. I do believe in God and debate my atheist friends about it as well. However, nothing angers me more than to hear people trying to debate that God exists in the manner that they often do, its pathetic.
I spoke to you after the debate at AUB and told you what I thought. Now,after I have read what you have written and watched your videos, my views regarding you have been greatly altered. I thought you were a good debater; the truth is,you are an excellent verbose articulate and most certainly well-educated one. You have vast knowledge regarding every other religion and this is what empowered you to actually have a sound debate. Your use of the word fallacy is revered, because you know exactly when to use it and how to use it.I am really proud of such scholars as yourself, it is of great relief to all Islamic believers knowing there is someone who is willing to show that Islam is not about oppression and forcing views rather the complete opposite. This is why your debate, at AUB in particular, became the university's hot topic for the month following the debate. You not only left the atheists dumbfounded, but you gave the believers renewed hope.
I am sincerely just writing this because I had a chance to sit with 2 my friends today, both of which wear the veil. You have no idea how much listening to your debate strengthened them. It gave them renewed faith in not only Islam but the very reasons that made them proud to wear the veil.
God bless you and I wish you luck with all your coming debates. I look forward to meeting you.
All good is indeed from Islam.
